The owners of this Holiday Apartment in Noosa wished they had TERMITE   PREVENTION. Situated only 50m from the Noosa River and not near any bushland, termites still found a tasty meal.

 

This relatively small repair job cost the owners over $3000 to have repaired.

Although only a wall 2 metres long it required ;

1)   A Pest Controller had to come in and treat the active termites.

2)   A Carpenter was needed to remove and replace the damaged wallframe.

3)   A Plasterer was needed to re-sheet ,set and replace cornice.

4)   An Electrician was needed to disconnect and re-connect power.

5)   A Carpenter had to replace skirtings.

6)   A painter had to re-paint wall,cornice and skirtings.

7)   A cleaner had to re clean the unit ready for the next occupants.

 

Termite Damage is not covered by your Insurance .

The Insurance companies consider the cover to be too much of a risk.
